"Heart for the company"
Since May 2007, I have enjoyed working as a lawyer at Gimbrère Advocaten and still find my work diverse and challenging. The first five years I worked in the Barcelona office. Since August 2012, I have been working from Breda for our offices in Spain. I handle matters of Spanish law. My work focuses on personal injury and liability law, criminal law and personal and family law. The personal nature of these jurisdictions goes with me. Communication and mediation play an important role in my current field of work. In addition, the customer-oriented and organizational aspects of the job are challenging. Every day, multiple interests must be weighed and strong empathy and results orientation is strongly invoked.
I am open, sincere, positive, sociable, precise, enterprising and hard working. Above all, I have a heart for the cause. The reason for studying law was, therefore, my desire to be able to do something for other people.
Before joining Gimbrère, I first worked as a corporate lawyer on the Dutch railways and then as a study advisor at the Utrecht University Faculty of Law. After studying Dutch law, I followed the professional training of company lawyers at Radboud University. In addition, I studied Spanish at the University of Barcelona, so I am fluent in this language.
